In this interview styled conference, Australian Petrina Tinslay and Conference Moderator, German Stevan Paul will talk about the different styles of cookbook photography in both of their home countries and the similarities and difference. This will end with a short Q&A with the audience.
About Petrina
Petrina Tinslay is a leading and internationally acclaimed food, travel and lifestyle photographer with a unique aesthetic and distinctive portfolio spanning over twenty five years. She has collaborated with some of the world's most notable publications, advertising and design agencies and has travelled extensively around the world, working on an array of leading creative, editorial and commercial projects.
Petrina has photographed numerous bestselling cookbooks, including multiple titles for Nigella Lawson, Donna Hay, Bill Granger and Delia Smith to name a few. She has been the recipient of many prestigious international cookbook awards, including the James Beard Foundation's 'Best Food Photography' and 'Best Photography Book' at the Paris Book Festival, Best Cookbook in the Glenfiddich Food & Drinks Awards and winner in the 'Best Food Photography' category at the IACP Cookbook Awards, amongst others. She has been a keynote speaker, exhibited, and led photographic workshops in various international and Australian art forums, and at various food and photography festivals. Petrina is based in Sydney Australia.
